me, my mom, and my sister are going to kentucky today! it is a 3 and a half hour long drive. we are going to just look at the scenary and for a quick vacation before christmas! ill post as soon as i get back and post the pictures that i will take of everything!

Rawhide's New Blanket!

Rawhide got a new blanket! It's just a tad bit big but it's adorable! Thanks Aunt Gail! I was talking to Dancer and got my camera and said "Say Cheese Danny!" and he did that pose and its so cute! Sorry It's Sideways!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, lots of information!

Well the reason I have not posted for a while is because I broke my arm. I was running Rawhide and fell off and everything went down hill from there. I am going to my friend's gma's house for fall break tomorrow so I will get some pics of the horses there!

Cantering Bareback!

A couple days ago I cantered bareback for the first time! It was sooo much fun, my mom left to go get some gas and when I was cantering Rawhide, he kind of spooked at you know nothing and I slipped but didn't fall, I kind of jumped off! My mom's video camera is working again so maybe tomorrow I will have her get really cute pics for my locker (I start 7th grade on Tuesday, August 12th, I know really early) so and I might get her to get me and ashley and the boys cantering and galloping (and Rawhide bucking) in our little working field! Well it is 2:24 AM! We went school shopping at Wal * Mart and we were there for hours looking at magazines for my mommy's store, you can check that out at http://www.petrysplace.com/ Well Hopefully I will post soon! Sorry I haven't posted in a while, show was cancelled and reschedualed for August the 23rd, dont know why! I have been riding bareback the past couple days to gain back my balance (I am horrible at holding on bareback trot) So... A couple weeks ago Rawhide showed in contesting with ashley! he did awesome, so next year i am going to do contesting! Well I might post again tonight with some cute pics that hopefully my mom will take, some really good pro looking ones! Bye!

Almost Show Time!!!!

It's Almost Showtime! I am showing in walk/trot because we just got started on Rawhide's leads and he has a really fast canter, lol. A couple weeks ago we saved 2 kittens from the barn because Lily(the tiny one) was sooo little and a pit bull wanted to have them for dinner (soo sad) The first pic is from a couple days ago my mom took a cute pic when i was sitting on the ground, the first kitty pic is Miley and the second one is Lily and the last one is of both of them. We took these pics when we first got the

m but now Lily is alot bigger! They both jump off my mom's bed and play around and they always both go into the shower and drink the water! Well First day of show is coming up soon! I will post pics of it!

I BOUGHT RAWHIDE!

I BOUGHT RAWHIDE! He's finally mine now! We bought him for 900! My Grandma gave me a check for 700$ (My g-ma is the best) and me and my mom are paying the rest! I am sooo happy! On Tuesday when we bought him me and Ashley went galloping in the fields! It was soo fun! Yesterday we worked on our leads while Ashley and Dancer barrel raced! Well I will try to get some cute pics today! CYA! By The Way the pics are from when I first started leasing Rawhide! I luv my pony!

Sorry!!

Sorry I haven't been posting lately, my mom was in the hopsital and had surgery and it's been raining so I haven't been able to go see Rawhide. Over the weekend my family came in to town so on Saturday I went over to my Aunt and Uncle's house and we had our annual movie night and we watched "Alvin and the Chipmunks". Then on Sunday we watched the Indy 500 and had a cookout, after that we went swimming at my grandma's pool. On Monday we went down to the farm in Greencastle, they have horses, goats, chickens, dogs, ducks, 4- wheelers,a mule (not a horse a car kind of thing), and lots more. That day I sprained my wrist and it still hurts, I can type and move it just it hurts when you move it side to side, so I can't : Pick up a saddle, Pick up a hoof, jump on bareback, can't canter, and alot of other stuff. Today I went swimming then I went to the barn and worked on trotting bareback. Ashley will have to d omost of the hard work (cantering, etc) for me while my wrist heals so it will be ready for 4-h!!! Well you are probably bored out of your mind righ tnow, oh yah and one more thing Rawhide got shoes for 4-h! They are cute, it was his first time getting shod and he did perfectly fine!!!! Well maybe in a couple days if I go home (I am spending the night at my g-ma's house till my mom gets better) I can post recent pics of Rawhide to show how beautiful he is now that his winter fur is gone! Dancer looks gorgeous too! Well ttyl!

The first picture is of Jeff Corey and his mom and dad. His mom was shot at a local bp in my sister's school area. The shooter shot Holly Corey then went over to the National City Bank and shot him self. This happened a while back but I found this picture was on my mom's laptop so I wanted to post it! He came to my mom's store and me and a couple other girls did some cheers for him and did "Soulja Boy" with Santa. Jeff goes to my school and he is an awesome kid! We love you Jeff!
