Pretty Good!

Rawhide did pretty good yesterday! We hadn't rode in a long time because there are 2 new horses (Bravo and Ellie) so we hadn't rode in a long time! Yesterday we rode and Rawhide did pretty good! We "raced" with Ashley and Paul (Ashley's boyfriend) and they were on Dancer. It was really fun! After Ashley brought Dancer in I wanted to trot Rawhide a little more and so first I walked him around and I trotted a little and he tried to rear on me to go into the barn when I wanted him to trot so I walked him more and he trotted a little so I got off to end it on a good note. Rawhide is really sweet.
Oh yah I might get a job at a barn that is behind my mom's store so in the Spring when I bring Rawhide there we can get half off on his board. In March I am doing a Safe Sitter program to earn money!
Just an update!

Mr. Good..... well most of the time!

Today Rawhide was really good! At first when I was trying to put on his halter he tried to budge through me to get out, so I so him who is boss! I grabbed his facebone and I said "No,quit it!" and then he threw his head up and I grabbed under his head and I told him No.. Then I told him I don't want to play games. I put the halter on and when I was trying to open up the stall door and he tried to run me over to get out so I grabbed his halter and I backed him up and I told him to give me some space, then I got him out!
There are two new horses at the barn Bravo and Ellie! Bravo the baby and Ellie is Rawhide's girlfriend! Rawhide pushes them around because he thinks he is the boss! LOL! well just an update! ttyl!

Mr. Dominace.... this tiny thing trying to dominate the barn!!!

Yesterday I went to the barn and there were two new horses! The guy that I told you about with the horses down the street, Ashley is going to train his mare Ellie and his gelding Bravo! Rawhide likes Ellie and Ellie likes Rawhide! But where's Dancer?

Dancer has been a little moody and has been kicking Rawhide alot....so Ashley put Dancer where the ponies used to be and the ponies are now in the front(ponies meaning the donkey and mini). Ashley told me the other day that Joe(the dude) didn't want RAWHIDE in the pasture with his two horses!!! He wanted Rawhide with Dancer in this .25 acre pasture with 1 stall!!! Dancer is aggressive with food so that wouldn't work out! So Ashley still put Rawhide with his horses and Joe got MAD! Joe was there when Rawhide pinned me up against the wall so he thinks Rawhide is a bad horse! He said" I don't want that pony in there, I rather have the yellow(Dancer) one in there!" When Ashley told me that I said "Only if you want your horses to die!" That's the whole reason Ashley moved Dancer away from his horses and Rawhide!

Now the dominace part...... Ashley was giving them all treats and Rawhide's whole life he's been pushed around..... so when Ashley put a couple treats in Bravo's bowl Rawhide decided to "move up the ladder" so he went in there and started kicking Bravo so he could have his treats! So brave Ashley went in there and made Bravo get out and gave Rawhide a little one on one and she slapped him and Rawhide tried to bite her and knocked her earing out. Finally he calmed down so we left!!!! Miget is trying to dominate the barn!!!!

Hey sorry guys that I haven't posted in forever, the weather has been rainy and we had a snow "storm" and so I haven't really gone to see him. But today at Noon I am planning to go see him and take my new bareback/saddle thing. It is a bareback pad but it has stirrups and looks alot like a bareback pad. I got alot of things for Christmas but that was my biggest present! Rawhide got a present from my grandma. She got him a big bag of apples! Well I am bored so I will post some pics. They are really random!

Is this the same Rawhide?

Yesterday I went to see Rawhide with a friend of my Mom's and I went in the stall with him and I started petting him, and he threw me against the wall and backed his butt toward me against the wall, HE WAS TRYING TO KICK ME!!! Me and my Mom are having second thoughts about Rawhide, because Ashley wasn't there and if he acts like that if we buy him, he won't be the best for me, that's why tonight when I go see him, he's not going to get out of ANYTHING! I am finally going to show him that he can't push me around and he will listen to me and not be a butt! Well just wanted to tell you the scoop!

Today is my birthday and well, I had one of my friends she dropped off a gift and I got a Young Rider magazine and a frame, that says Horse lover! it is really cute well just an update!
